Arlene Dilloway
As a dedicated education professional and mother of two, I am deeply committed to supporting young people in reaching their full potential. I currently work at Latton Green Primary Academy in Harlow, Essex, where I have the privilege of working closely with children, helping to create an inclusive and nurturing learning environment.
In 2022, I was proud to receive the Pearson National Teaching Silver Award for Teaching Assistant of the Year—an honour awarded to only 80 individuals across the country. This recognition reflects my passion for education, my commitment to excellence, and my belief in the transformative power of learning.
Outside of work, I enjoy reading, hiking, and spending quality time with my family. These experiences keep me grounded and continually remind me of the importance of strong, supportive communities—something I strive to bring into every aspect of my work.
As a governor, I bring not only firsthand experience from within the classroom, but also a parent’s perspective and a strong desire to contribute to the strategic direction and continued improvement of our schools. I believe every child deserves access to high-quality education, and I am committed to helping shape an environment where that can thrive.
