Applications for secondary school (year 7) places for September 2025 are now open.
The new secondary school admissions round opened on Thursday, 12th September 2024, for parents of Year 6 children to apply for a secondary school (Year 7) place for September 2025.
Applications can be made online via Essex County Councils Website which also contains key points in the process and a copy of the Secondary Education in Essex 2025-26 booklet.
The statutory national closing date for applications is 31st October 2024.
Offers of places will be sent from Admissions at Essex County Council on 3rd March 2025.
From 3rd March 2025, if you applied online, you can log into your account to see your allocation.

After you have been notified by Essex you will receive a welcome email from Stewards Academy with information on future events such as Primary School Transition Visits, the New Parents Evening and Taster Days which we hope will support the transition from Primary to Secondary Education.
