On 10th May we played host to yet another of our very popular events when Year 5 parents from feeder schools were invited to come along and meet the Headteacher and Mrs Erwood with the School Council. We were delighted that the event was so well attended with over 300 people coming along to speak to pupils, staff, parents and Governors about life here at Stewards Academy. The overwhelming response from the event was very positive and people were so impressed with the maturity and articulacy of the pupils who spoke with such pride about their school. 80 members of the School Council were present to speak to the Year 5 parents and their children, and everyone left with a smile on their faces. One parent from Katherines school said that “the children were very polite and very grown up – most impressed”. Another parent from Latton Green said “the pupils we spoke to were knowledgeable, polite, presentable and answered our questions with enthusiasm and pride in their school – it was encouraging to hear how well looked after the Year 7’s will be”. And finally a parent from St James school said “the pupils we spoke to were an absolute credit to Stewards Academy. Very impressed!”
