Cultural Fashion Event 2014
Stewards Academy drew an enthusiastic audience along to support their second annual Cultural Fashion Event. Over 100 pupils paraded the catwalk in an array of stunning outfits from around the globe. All of the pupils were members of the longstanding and award winning Ethnic Minority Pupil Voice group.
Organiser Eman Mohamed spent several months hunting down outfits from shops in the local area, and many outfits were donated by supporters of the Academy's multi- cultural work. The pupils absolutely loved showing off their outfits and all of them had the opportunity to wear several different outfits during the colourful stage presentations. Quite a lot of money was also raised for Hira's fund at the event, and this would continue to support the education of 3 girls in Pakistan for another year.
