Stewards Academy students take a trip to see Sleeping Beauty at the Harlow Playhouse

Over two hundred students and staff from Stewards Academy enjoyed a fabulous trip to The Playhouse to see Sleeping Beauty on the 11th December.
Before departing school and travelling to the theatre, students had a talk about expectations and theatre etiquette before being organised into their coach groups.
With phones safe and secure in their Yondr pouches, students were able to fully immerse themselves in the theatre and pantomime experience.
Everyone on the trip was thoroughly entertained as they watched the story unfold. Brilliant acting, fabulous costumes and comedic timing led to an afternoon filled with laughter and joy.
One year 7 students said: “I had such a great time. The show was fantastic! Thank you for taking us.”
Jo Bartlett, trip leader, said: “What a wonderful afternoon. It is so lovely to see our students enjoying a quality performance and fully engaging as part of the audience with their peers. They were a credit to the academy.”
