Parents’ bulletin: forthcoming events
We have a very busy couple of weeks. Please see below
Year 11 Parents’ Evening:
Will take place on Thursday 8th November between 4pm-6.30pm. Information previously sent via Parentmail.
Remembrance:
Pupils and staff will marking a 2 minutes silence in the Quad on Friday 9th November at 11am. Assemblies this week will focus on Remembrance. Poppies are on sale daily from the charity coordinators.
INSET days:
The academy is closed to all pupils (with the exception of Year 11 Music and Drama students) on Monday 12th and Tuesday 13th November due to staff training.
Shakespeare Schools Festival:
Drama students from years 8-11 will be performing as part of the Shakespeare Schools Festival on Thursday 15th November. Tickets are available from The Playhouse, Harlow.
Children in Need:
Stewards will support Children in Need on Friday 16th November. We will have a non-uniform day with suggested donations of £1. Our charity coordinators have decided on Heroes and Villains as our theme for the day. The best dressed pupils and staff will receive a prize and positive points! There will also be a bake sale.
